Models may offer a future show deal in exchange for a large tip to help them win that day's contest. Buyer beware. If you agree to this, take it from someone who has been on this site for a while, and schedule a date and time to redeem the show deal and negotiate the expiration date on the show deal. Once you tip, the model and Flirt get their money, and you are left with a show deal you may not be able to collect on for many reasons, such as the model suddenly stops camming or changes online hours to a time you are not available. Trading a show deal for a credits is a loan, and users have no collateral to ensure the loan is repaid. :thumbsup

Thank you for the reply and the email. This post wasn’t about a particular model or an attempt to remedy a wrong. After all, my inattention to redeeming show deals can also contribute to expired, unused deals. My intention was to share some friendly advice to fellow users.

This is very good advice, and a timely reminder to stay vigilant. In the first few months of 2024, I sent a model many tips in exchange for private time with deal codes. While I understand that it can be hard to keep track, her records were different from mine (which I was very diligent about keeping) and I got somewhat less private time than I was owed. Also, she changed her entire approach to camming and became a multi-site model, with the other site taking priority over F4F. During my "free private time" she refused to go on break on her other site, so it wasn't really a private at all.

Sweet just a mere suggestion in view of the fact it seems your agreement with her did not meet the intent of the show deal one would suggest you contact the site admin to see if something might be able to be worked out even if it meant a refund of some sort that you could use with another model on the site. One would think it would be seen as a good promotion tool by the site to keep in favour with members.

Very good advice. In my case, the code deals I've received have been in the form of gratitude for all the support I've given them, but they've never told me that, that I'd help them win a contest by giving a lot of CR in exchange for code deals.

Something that can also happen is that after giving a lot of cr and you are going to use the code deals within the show, they ask you to give cr to do things where it was supposed to be a gift for the support you gave before to win the contest, so it is very true and you have to know who you are going to do it with.
And I'm referring to the 0 CR code offers, because there are code offers of so many minutes for so many free minutes, although in that case, as I said, be careful because if you don't give CR when you're inside, they don't do anything, often just talk or flex

That's exactly right. I also think that when a model offers to give something to help them win a competition, you have to analyze it carefully, because the model might not follow through and give you any code deals, or might not do much during the show, or might not do what you expected. As they said, it's better to do this with models we trust

I agree with you, and a good example of this is the internal battles that a studio whose name you already know has going on, on contest day, how much those models ask for in exchange for code deals, and more

Yes, I've been burned by this recently with a couple of models who I thought would be reliable. This isn't an airport; I won't announce my departure, but this latest round of bait-and-switch has left me very demoralized, so I've unfavorited/unfollowed everyone I had on before and am ready to give up. I'm a big boy and I know what kind of site this is, but the dishonesty still hurts.

Ya I totally get it. Stick to paying by the minute for private shows. It gives the model incentive to do a better show or risk you leaving. These contests and whatever prizes they compete for are not our problem or concern, unless a member wants to participate. I often point out to models it would be cheaper to just send them the amount of the prize rather than buy enough credits for them to win. But of course that’s not allowed and I do not endorse that. 🤑

I also get irritated when they make an offer during a contest but the offer never materializes. Not sure which is worse - giving a private code they never honor, or just never following through with the code in the first place.

Another good example is the contest that just happened, the Easter one, where many of the models that won did so because they asked for a lot of eggs and in exchange they gave codes and other things, and as I have already said it is better not to give cr for a code or something else, it is nice when the model with heart gives you something as a reward for the help you have given him, without him having asked for cr to give you something

I do not know, but it may be worth contacting customer support. As you can read at the start of this thread, they contacted me when I first made this post, so it seems they are aware and act of this issue. I did not have a specific claim to pursue, but if I did, I would provide details such as the date and time the deal was made, the specifics of the deal, how and when it was broken, and the amount of credits given. Perhaps Flirt can review chat transcripts or some recordings for further evidence. Flirt receives a large percentage of the ill-gotten gains and knows bad ethics is bad business.

Thanks. I did send a note - I have had now three different models reneg on deals, so it is worth exploring. I have my doubts flirt will actually do anything wortwhile. Yes, it is bad ethics and bad for business, but at the same time, I'm not sure I get a sense that customer care is a high-priority agenda item. I could be wrong. I hope I am.
